Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of these terms

By creating an account or using GrainSight, you agree to these terms. If you are using GrainSight on behalf of a business or organization, you confirm you have the authority to accept these terms for it.

2. Your account

• Provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure — you are responsible for activity under your account.
• You must be at least 18 years old, or use the platform under your organization's authorization.

3. Your content & ownership

You own the rice sample images and inspection data you submit to GrainSight. By uploading, you grant us a non-exclusive license to process, store, and display that content back to you so we can operate the service (for example, running AI analysis and generating your inspection reports).

You are responsible for having the rights to any image or content you upload.

4. AI estimates are preliminary

GrainSight provides AI-generated estimates based on the visible characteristics of submitted rice sample images. Results are intended for preliminary screening and workflow assistance only — they are not laboratory measurements, certified grading results, or regulatory assessments. 5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Publish content that is illegal, hateful, or infringes someone else's rights.
• Misrepresent your identity or falsify inspection results or records.
• Upload malware or use the platform to distribute harmful code.
• Scrape, spam, or abuse the platform's APIs beyond reasonable use.
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or non-public data.

6. Business accounts & organizations

Organizations using GrainSight are responsible for their team members' use of the platform and for the accuracy of the inspection data and business information they submit.

7. GrainSight's intellectual property

The GrainSight name, logo, design, and platform code are ours. These terms don't grant you any right to use them outside of normal use of the service.

8. Termination

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where reasonable. On termination, your inspection data is deleted per our Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

GrainSight is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee uninterrupted availability or the accuracy of AI-generated estimates. Critical purchasing, contractual, regulatory, and quality-control decisions should be verified by qualified personnel using appropriate inspection methods — not on AI estimates alone.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GrainSight is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including business or purchasing decisions made based on inspection results.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the platform evolves. When we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you by email. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
